Official Knox County criminal records must come from the government office that created or maintains them. The contacts below route court files to the Circuit Clerk, sheriff reports and custody questions to the sheriff, and statewide history checks to MSHP CJIS. This private site does not receive or process record requests.

This Is Not a Government Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot pull criminal records, run official background checks, remove or correct a record, or accept expungement filings for anyone. For any of those, you need to reach the right government office directly.

Need an Official Record?

Use the custodian that holds the requested Knox County record:

  • Court case files: contact the Knox County Circuit Clerk or review criminal court cases
  • Criminal histories and official checks: use the Missouri State Highway Patrol CJIS Division and MACHS
  • Arrest reports, custody, and warrants: contact the Knox County Sheriff
  • Police reports and incident records: contact the agency that wrote the report
  • Expungement: file in the Missouri court where the person was charged or found guilty
